Conway Guitar Studio

My name is Don Tucker. I have been playing guitar for over 35 years. I took a few lessons in high school from friends who played in bands. For the most part , I am self taught, but I haved studied different courses and methods . I have played in church praise bands in Bryant and Little Rock for about twelve years. I have also played in various country and rock groups over the years, recently with local country artist

Neal Travis.

In 2006 I opened Bryant Guitar Studio and decided to

teach guitar to others. I have formulated my own teaching method. I noticed most methods, like the Mel Bay method, were a little bit on the boring side, focusing on learning to read music and teaching outdated songs that most students really had no interest in learning. I do teach how to read music, but

also how to read tabulature, how to make chords, strum techniques, and how to play songs that students really want to learn. I try to make learning fun as well as productive. I have learned what works and what doesn't, and my goal is to help my students make progress. If you want to learn to play or your child does, give our studio a try.
